Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and organized IT Support Specialist to manage our end-to-end
technology operations. This is a critical role that bridges the gap between high-level cloud
computing and day-to-day hardware logistics. You will be responsible for ensuring that every
employee—whether remote or in-office—has a seamless technical experience from their first day
of onboarding to their daily workflows.
Key Responsibilities
∙Cloud & Systems Management: * Set up, configure, and manage Cloud PCs / Virtual
Desktops (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS WorkSpaces) for employees.
oAdminister user accounts and access permissions via Microsoft 365 / Google
Workspace.
∙End-to-End Onboarding: * Own the IT orientation for new hires, including hardware
setup and software walkthroughs.
oCreate "Quick Start" guides to help non-technical staff navigate company tools.
∙Hardware Logistics: * Manage the physical lifecycle of IT assets: ordering, preparing,
and shipping laptops and peripherals to employees.
oCoordinate the retrieval and refurbishing of equipment from offboarding staff.
∙Technical Troubleshooting: * Act as the first point of contact for all hardware (Laptops,
MacBooks, Printers) and software (SaaS tools, VPN, OS) issues.
oMaintain an internal ticketing system to ensure timely resolution of employee
requests.
∙Security & Compliance: * Ensure all devices are encrypted and compliant with
company security policies.
oConduct regular software updates and patch management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
∙Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with Windows/macOS troubleshooting and
Cloud PC environments.
∙Asset Management: Experience tracking physical inventory and managing courier
logistics for equipment.
∙Communication: Ability to explain complex technical solutions in simple terms to non-
technical employees.
∙Reliability: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple "onboarding" and
"offboarding" cycles simultaneously.
∙Education: A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical
experience (Certifications like CompTIA A+ or Google IT Support are a plus).
