Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, networking, and enterprise tools, along with a problem-solving mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality IT support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and support
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and enterprise tools
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals
- Experience with log analysis, monitoring tools, and diagnostics
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of scripting (PowerShell preferred)
- Familiarity with IT security standards and compliance practices
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux distributions
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and networking devices
- Manage and support enterprise software including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools
- Analyze system and application logs, perform diagnostics, and use monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Automate routine tasks and administrative processes using PowerShell or other scripting languages (basic knowledge)
- Provide support for networking issues involving LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls
- Ensure system security through endpoint protection, patch management, and adherence to IT security best practices (basic knowledge)
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth IT operations and minimal downtime
