Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Technology Support and Network Engineer, based in Delhi, India. The role involves providing technical support for IT systems, troubleshooting network and system-related issues, managing system administration tasks, and offering help desk support to facilitate smooth operations. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to maintain a robust IT infrastructure and ensure minimal disruptions to hospital services.
Technical Skills
- Experience in Technical Support and Information Technology operations to maintain and enhance IT systems
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in hardware, software, and network systems
- Skilled in System Administration and managing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems
- Proven ability to provide Help Desk Support, assisting users with technical queries and problems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively on-site in a healthcare environment with critical systems
- Operating Systems: Expert proficiency in Windows 10/11, Windows Server OS; working knowledge of macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.
- Networking: Solid grasp of networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, and basic Wi-Fi troubleshooting. Hands-on experience in Sophos Firewall.
- Tools: Experience with remote control tools and imaging.
- Disaster Recovery Protocols
- Backup Plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent are a plus
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in IT support, with at least 2 years in a Tier 2 or escalation role.
- Experience in healthcare IT systems is advantageous
- Preference given to nearby candidates
