Job Description:
IT Service Desk Analyst / Engineer
Job Location: Bangalore
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Provide hardware / software / network problem diagnosis / resolution via telephone/email/chat to end users.
· Resolving problems with networks and other computer systems
· Diagnosing system errors and other issues
· Following up with customers to ensure full resolution of issues
· Route problems to internal 2nd and 3rd level IT support staff.
· Resolve help desk issues including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
· Perform user administration duties
· Support other IT staff in order to increase technical and operational capability.
· Share subject matter expertise across the team in order to enhance team effectiveness and ensure quality of support activities.
· Perform root cause analysis, develop checklists for typical problems and recommend procedures and controls for problem prevention.
· Support multiple platforms including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and VC equipment.
· Always adhere to the firms IT security policies and best practices.
· Ability to manage, prioritize tasks and able to work under pressure
· Use the Incident Management System to document and manage problems and work requests and their respective resolutions and circumvention's.
Who Are We Looking For? (Eligibility):
· Degree or Diploma holder in IT Computer studies field.
· The willingness and ability to be on call per regional instruction.
· A minimum of 3 years of experience with Support Analyst, or related field
· A minimum of 3 years of experience in Windows Operating systems (Win7 & Win10)
· Good experience in supporting production applications hosted on Amazon Web Services, Azure/Intune.
· Knowledge and Experience in Active Directory and Exchange Server
- Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio)
· Excellent communication skills required.
· Experience with working on ITSM tools
· Ability to work well with people
· Strong Computer Skills and the Ability to Troubleshoot and Diagnose Problems
· Good Customer Service Skills
· Ability to communicate effectively to help customers fix their issues and feel satisfied with the experience.
· Experience with SharePoint support.
· Experience with Intune.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus to have)
· Experience supporting Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
· Experience supporting AWS workspace, Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
· Experience supporting Zoom VC.
