Role Description The Information Technology Specialist will support and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure in a full-time, hybrid role based in Faridabad, with some flexibility for work from home. Daily responsibilities include monitoring and managing networks, servers, and endpoints, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring that systems are secure, stable, and up to date. The role involves configuring and maintaining network devices, managing user accounts and access rights, and performing regular backups and system checks. The IT Specialist will respond to service requests, troubleshoot incidents, and provide customer-focused technical support to internal users. The position also includes documenting procedures, assisting with IT projects and upgrades, coordinating with vendors as needed, and recommending improvements to enhance system performance and security.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Information Technology, including operating systems, hardware, software, and basic IT service management practices.
- Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Security, with experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Demonstrated Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a structured, timely manner.
- Customer Service orientation, with the ability to communicate clearly, support non-technical users, and manage priorities in a hospitality-driven environment.
- Experience with system monitoring tools, endpoint protection, backup solutions, and user access management is highly desirable.
- Relevant certification(s) such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or comparable hands-on experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Faridabad in a hybrid model, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support occasional after-hours or weekend work during critical incidents or maintenance windows.
