About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional for the Customer Support Department in the Gas Analytical Domain. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional technical support, ensuring the installation, maintenance, calibration, health checks, data verification, report preparation and troubleshooting to ensure the accurate and reliable operation of gas analyzers. All activities must be carried out in adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements, ensuring both technical excellence and operational compliance.
Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, or related field
Experience Required: 2-5 years of Experience in industrial automation, networking, or technical support preferred.
Location: Goa, India
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Configure, install, and commission industrial communication hardware and software systems.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, remote access and chat.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and communication-related issues
- Diagnose faults in industrial networking setups including serial communication and fieldbus networks.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address operational issues.
- Respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Escalate complex technical issues to internal teams as and when required.
- Train customers on installation, operation, and maintenance of systems
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with internal departments for system testing, validation, and deployment.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to project timelines.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships for ongoing support.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Industrial Networking and Communication: RS232, RS485, Optical Fiber, Profibus
- Communication Protocols: ASCII, Modbus, Profinet
- Basic programming knowledge: Java and Python
- Understanding of Cloud technologies and remote connectivity
- Hardware and software troubleshooting skills
- System performance monitoring and diagnostics
