Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Technology Security Analyst located in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. The IT Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the organization’s security infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, implementing security controls, and ensuring compliance with company security policies and industry standards.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity best practices, endpoint security, identity and access management, and Microsoft 365 security solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities.
- Implement and maintain endpoint security solutions.
- Configure and manage Microsoft 365 security features, including Conditional Access, MFA, and Defender.
- Perform regular security assessments, audits, and risk analysis.
- Investigate suspicious activities and respond to security incidents.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and policies.
- Manage user access control and identity management processes.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams for security improvements and remediation.
- Maintain documentation related to security configurations, incidents, and procedures.
- Support patch management and system hardening activities.
- Conduct awareness sessions and promote cybersecurity best practices within the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in IT Security, System Administration, or IT Infrastructure.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, Conditional Access, and MFA.
- Familiarity with endpoint protection and antivirus management.
- Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of vulnerability management and security monitoring tools.
- Experience in Windows Server Administration and Active Directory.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and documentation abilities.

- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)
- CompTIA Security+
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) – Preferred
