Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for an Information Technology Sales Specialist. The specialist will identify and qualify new business opportunities, conduct outbound prospecting, and manage inbound leads to build a strong sales pipeline. Daily responsibilities include understanding client business needs, positioning Apricorn’s software and digital solutions, preparing proposals, and delivering product demonstrations or presentations in collaboration with technical teams. The role also involves managing and growing existing accounts, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, and coordinating with delivery and support teams to ensure client satisfaction. The specialist will monitor market trends, gather competitive insights, and provide feedback to internal stakeholders to refine offerings and sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong IT Sales skills with a proven ability to sell software, digital solutions, or related technology services.
- Solid foundation in Information Technology concepts to understand client environments and communicate technical value clearly.
- Demonstrated experience in Lead Generation, including prospecting, outreach, and qualifying opportunities.
- Account Management experience in building long-term client relationships and driving renewals or upsells.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and effective presentation abilities.
- Experience using CRM and sales productivity tools to track pipelines and activities.
- Goal-oriented mindset with strong negotiation, closing, and objection-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in B2B technology or software sales is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
