Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for an Information Technology Procurement Manager. The successful candidate will manage the procurement of IT products and services, including identifying and negotiating with suppliers, managing contracts, optimizing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of IT-related goods and services. The role will involve supporting organization-wide technology requirements while maintaining compliance with procurement policies and fostering strong vendor relationships to enable agile operations.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in IT Procurement and Supplier Management to ensure cost efficiency and high-quality product/service delivery.
- Strong Contract Negotiation and Contract Management skills for managing supplier agreements and aligning them with organizational objectives.
- Exceptional Analytical Skills to evaluate vendor proposals, pricing models, and strategic sourcing options.
- Familiarity with industry-standard procurement processes and vendor compliance practices.
- Proficiency in ERP systems related to procurement and supply chain management is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong supplier relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field. Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP or CPSM) is a plus.
- Previous experience in IT procurement or technology services organizations is highly preferred.
