Role Description The Information Technology Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems that support SurveyMine’s data intelligence platform and internal business functions. The IT Manager will manage and mentor the IT team, coordinate system administration and security, monitor performance, and ensure high availability of critical services. Responsibilities include implementing IT policies and best practices, managing vendors and technology partners, planning upgrades and deployments, and ensuring data protection and compliance. The person in this role will collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to support scalable deployments, troubleshoot technical issues, and align IT initiatives with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in IT infrastructure and networking (e.g., server administration, cloud services, LAN/WAN management, network security).
- Experience with systems administration and security (e.g., operating systems, identity and access management, backup and disaster recovery, endpoint management).
- Proficiency in managing enterprise applications and integrations (e.g., databases, APIs, monitoring tools, collaboration platforms).
- Demonstrated ability in IT project and vendor management (e.g., planning and executing upgrades, coordinating with external providers, managing budgets and contracts).
- Background in data and analytics environments, preferably supporting platforms similar to mobile/web data collection or business intelligence solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Leadership experience managing or mentoring IT teams in a fast-paced or growth-stage organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CCNA, AWS, Azure, security certifications) are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and support occasional extended hours for critical deployments or incidents.
