Job Title: Information Technology - Kinaxis Solution Consultant (2 positions)
Location: 100% Remote (India preferred; open to China, Korea, Malaysia, Argentina, and other geographies)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Hourly Rate: 9−9−13 USD per hour (pending confirmation)
Job Description:
The Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) Team is the IT Engine that delivers compelling and robust capabilities, products, and solutions to business and IT by focusing on cost savings, business growth, as well as connecting with partners and customers. This role is part of the Supply Chain Planning and Forecasting team. As part of this team, this role will support full horizon end-to-end integrated solutions and will be responsible for developing and supporting Kinaxis related implementation projects or changes undertaken by the DTS organization.
Scope:
- Responsible for solution design and delivery of Kinaxis system.
- Excellent understanding of Kinaxis solution footprint, with a deep knowledge of Supply Planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate business diagnostics, As-Is process analysis, and To-Be design workshops, and subsequently write solution design documents to support business requirements.
- Review functional specs and designs, providing inputs to influence and enhance the quality of deliverables.
- Review existing systems and tools, and recommend improvement opportunities.
- Configure planning solutions in Kinaxis and implement solutions independently with some oversight from the Kinaxis Architect.
- Influence business decisions on technology through experience and by sharing industry best practices and methodologies.
- Deliver in fast-paced environments using agile methodologies.
- Assist Delivery Manager and Kinaxis Architect in project planning, including detailed project plans, estimates, and timelines.
- Set up and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and support final acceptance and critical phase sign-off by business owners.
- Communicate project risks and issues that may have a negative impact on project schedule, scope, or budget.
Qualifications:
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar fields.
- MBA / Master's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain / Logistics is preferred but not a must.
Technical Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in implementing supply chain solutions with deep expertise in Kinaxis or similar supply planning solutions.
- 5+ years of proven experience in Kinaxis supply planning implementations is mandatory.Project, Enhancement, and/or POC experience is required. Experience as a user or superuser is not counted.
- Implementation experience and functional knowledge of material planning systems and processes is desirable.
- Hands-on experience with integration between Kinaxis and SAP S4 HANA / SAP ECC is highly desirable but not a must.
- Experience collaborating with multiple cross-cultural teams spread across geographies to gather requirements, make design decisions, and for testing and delivery.
- Good time management and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and good communication skills.
Kinaxis Experience Notes:
- Kinaxis experience could be in either Demand Planning or Supply Planning or both.
- 5+ years of experience in Kinaxis is desired, but we can consider candidates with lesser experience if they have the right skills and potential.
Work Environment:
- 100% remote position.
- India preferred. Open to China, Korea, Malaysia, Argentina, and other geographies.
- Most offshore resources on this team are currently India-based.
- 6-month contract duration.
