Role Description
We are seeking an IT Support Executive to provide end-to-end IT support for users and ensure smooth
operations of workplace IT systems. The role involves hardware/software troubleshooting, software
installation and management, monthly PC optimization, server upkeep, backup monitoring, and
vendor/license coordination. The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-focused, and comfortable
working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
End-User / Desktop Support
- Provide L1/L2 technical support for hardware, OS, applications, email, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot desktops/laptops (Windows, macOS), printers, and productivity tools
- Resolve LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and shared drive connectivity issues
- Support meeting rooms and video conferencing setups
- Handle user onboarding and offboarding (system setup, access, data migration)
Software Installation & Management
- Install, configure, and maintain business software
- Ensure software compatibility and version updates
- Manage software licenses, renewals, and compliance
- Troubleshoot software errors and performance issues
Monthly PC Optimization
- Perform regular system optimization and maintenance
- Update OS and patches
- Clean storage and improve system performance
- Check antivirus and system health
- Maintain optimization records and report recurring issues
Server & Backup Support
- Assist with file server and storage management
- Manage user access and permissions
- Monitor backups and ensure successful completion
- Support data restore and recovery when needed
Vendor & License Coordination & IT Asset Support
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair and IT support
- Assist in IT asset procurement and license renewals
- Track license expiry and ensure timely renewal
- Maintain inventory of laptops, desktops, and accessories
- Handle asset allocation, repair, and replacements
- Track warranties and maintain asset records
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of hardware and Windows OS
- Good troubleshooting and networking basics
