Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role primarily located in Bengaluru, India, for an Information Technology Executive. The role involves overseeing and managing IT operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of IT infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing new technologies to support institutional goals. The position requires coordination across departments, ensuring data security and compliance, and providing technical support to students, faculty, and staff to maintain operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in IT systems administration, network management, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in software and hardware maintenance, including experience with operating systems, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Experience in cybersecurity practices, data safety, and compliance with regulations.
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, collaborate with teams, and implement solutions effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to support diverse users effectively.
- Relevant certifications (such as ITIL, Microsoft, or Cisco) and a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field would be advantageous.
