Role Definition: Seeking a proactive IT Executive to lead IT projects and ensure timely delivery. Key duties include network planning, system and OS installation, maintaining LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi networks, managing servers (Windows, data, mail, FTP), handling firewalls, troubleshooting, and providing software support. The role also involves managing IT asset procurement and records, as well as overseeing internal and external IT audits.
Responsibility Deliverable:
1. IT Infrastructure & Hardware Management
- Procure, install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, laptops, thin clients, and printers.
- Manage scanners, CCTV systems, biometric devices, projectors, speakers, and EPABX.
- Maintain backup devices (HDD, NAS) and all networking hardware.
- Keep updated inventory of all IT assets.
2. Software & Application Management
- Manage and support stockbroking applications (Odin, BOW, NOW).
- Administer server software, business applications (Tally, SharePro, IPRO), antivirus, and productivity tools (MS Office, Office365, Google Drive, Bitrix24).
- Ensure software updates, licenses, and compliance.
3. Network & Security Administration
- Maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and China Wall compliance.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
4. User & Access Management
- Create, modify, and delete user accounts across systems.
- Handle login credentials, password resets, and software access.
- Maintain records of user accounts and access for audits.
5. Data & Backup Management
- Manage regular backups of servers, cloud data, and emails.
- Ensure data integrity, restore when required, and troubleshoot backup issues.
- Maintain compliance with data retention policies.
6. IT Operations, Support & Documentation
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and networks.
- Diagnose and resolve system faults promptly.
- Maintain IT documentation, asset records, and manage website/domain renewals.
- Stay updated on new technologies and recommend improvements.
