Responsibilities include ability to:
Engage with internal stakeholders, clients, and partners to understand business requirements and objectives
Conduct requirement gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, and walkthrough sessions
Prepare BRD, FRD, SRS, WBS, user stories, use cases, workflows, and process diagrams
Clearly articulate functional and non-functional requirements to development and QA teams
Maintain requirement traceability matrix (RTM) across project lifecycle
Analyse existing business processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
Should have hands-on experience - Microsoft Project / JIRA and good to have Tableau or Power BI
Work in alignment with the internal and client teams to ensure a streamlined delivery model with seamless integration of the final deliverable across modules.
Assist in defining acceptance criteria and support UAT planning and execution
Communicate, analyse, recommend and provide crisp updates in both written and oral forms of communication to both internal and client leadership. Demonstrate good report writing skills and prepare final deliverables.
Act as a single point of contact for requirement-related clarifications
Support pre-sales and proposal teams with solution understanding, scope definition, and estimations (where required)
Participate in client meetings, demos, and solution walkthroughs
Assist senior members of the team in responding to client requests.
Coordinate with deployed/on-site resources to review and validate timesheets on a regular basis
Ensure accurate effort tracking in line with agreed scope, milestones, and commercials
Obtain timely client sign-off on timesheets / effort sheets to enable accurate and ontime billing
Act as a liaison between delivery, finance, and client teams for effort-related clarifications Highlight scope creep, effort overruns, or deviations early to internal stakeholders Capture & document business processes, functional & data requirements and be able to communicate with the technical resources.
Should have Flexible, enthusiastic approach to work including a strong desire to learn new tools & techniques to solve business problems. Ability to identify security and compliance requirements during requirement gathering and ensure they are captured in documentation Awareness of security considerations in BFSI / regulated environments, including confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Required Qualification:
Base knowledge in business strategy, marketing, finance, operations, and data analysis techniques
4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT / Product / Technology services.
Bank / Insurance / NBFC / FinTech domain experience
Strong critical and analytical thinking ability to solve complex and ambiguous problems.
Exposure to onboarding journeys, KYC, OCR, workflow systems, risk/compliance, or digital platforms
Understanding of regulatory and compliance-driven environments Leadership qualities, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to mentor teammembers. Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently.
Experience in facilitation of design workshops with a variety of stakeholders Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent presentation, problem solving and persuasion skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodology
Experience using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Balsamiq, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar Basic understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows (functional level)
Understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts such as: Data privacy & protection, Access control, authentication, authorization, Secure API and integration practices, Vulnerability management and risk assessment (functional awareness)
