Role Description The Information Technology Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Panvel. The role involves providing day-to-day technical support for users, including resolving hardware and software issues, assisting with network connectivity, and maintaining printers and other peripherals. The Information Technology Assistant will log and track support requests, perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics, and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed. The role also includes routine maintenance tasks, installing updates, and supporting IT inventory management. The successful candidate will collaborate with team members, communicate clearly with users, and help ensure stable and secure IT operations.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Information Technology, including basic knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and networks.
- Proficiency in Technical Support and Troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose and resolve common user issues efficiently.
- Experience with Printer Support and peripheral device configuration and maintenance.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to identify root causes, prioritize issues, and recommend practical solutions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for user support and collaboration with IT team members.
- Ability to work on-site in Panvel, manage multiple tasks, and respond promptly to support requests.
- Relevant coursework, certification, or diploma in IT or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic cybersecurity practices and safe handling of user data is an advantage.
