We are a maritime services company managing a fleet of 40+ vessels worldwide, with offices across key shipping hubs. Our operations rely heavily on robust IT infrastructure to support both shore-based teams and vessels at sea.
As part of our expansion, we are establishing a new office in Mumbai to support our growing global operations.
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on IT Support Engineer to support a team of approximately 10 office users in Mumbai and provide remote IT support to a fleet of 40+ vessels globally.
This is a high-responsibility role requiring availability outside standard working hours, including shift work and weekend
support for vessel operations
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily IT support to office users (hardware, software, network, printers)
Deliver remote support to vessels worldwide (connectivity, systems, troubleshooting)
Monitor and respond to IT incidents and service requests
Ensure uptime and reliability of critical maritime systems
Support onboard IT infrastructure and coordinate with vessel crew
Maintain documentation, asset tracking, and system configurations
Participate in shift rotations, including evenings and weekends, to support 24/7 vessel operations
Requirements
3+ years experience in IT Support / System Administration
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, networks, and hardware
Experience with remote support tools and incident handling
Ability to work under pressure and handle critical issues independently
Strong communication skills (English required)
Willingness to work in shifts and support weekend operations
