Role Description The Information Technology and Services Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The counsellor will guide prospective and current students on suitable IT training programs, explain course offerings, and help them understand career paths in software development, testing, and related domains. Day-to-day tasks include meeting walk-in candidates, responding to inquiries via phone and email, maintaining accurate student records, and coordinating with trainers to align counselling with program content and schedules. The role also involves providing basic technical guidance, supporting students with troubleshooting common IT-related queries, and ensuring a positive learner experience throughout their engagement with Cyber Success.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Information Technology and Troubleshooting to understand course content and address basic technical queries.
- Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration and Network Security to provide informed guidance on networking-related training and career options.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to communicate effectively with students, handle inquiries, and manage expectations professionally.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Prior experience in academic counselling, training institutes, or IT services is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune Division, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with trainers and administrative staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is beneficial; relevant certifications in networking or IT support are an added advantage.
