Key Responsibilities:
System Administration:
• Manage, monitor, and maintain all on-premises and cloud-based IT infrastructure, including Windows/Linux servers, desktops, printers, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Ensure timely installation of software, OS updates, patches, and backups.
• Manage user accounts, access controls, licensing, and email systems (e.g., Outlook 365, G-Suite).
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and ensure minimal downtime.
• Create and enforce IT policies and procedures (including asset management, usage policies, and incident management).
Networking:
• Oversee the company's LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless networks.
• Ensure high availability and security of all systems and network resources.
• Monitor bandwidth usage and optimize performance across departments.
• Configure and maintain security systems including firewalls, antivirus, and threat detection tools.
IT Security & Compliance:
• Implement data privacy, cybersecurity, and network security protocols in line with international standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Ensure regular audits and risk assessments are conducted.
• Provide support in internal/external audits and compliance assessments.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in system administration and networking, preferably in a mid-sized or growth-stage organization.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, SonicWall), switches, and routers.
• Proven expertise in IT security management and incident handling.
• Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
