Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled IT Administrator & Infrastructure Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in IT administration, infrastructure management, and enterprise systems support.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring system availability, security, compliance, and operational efficiency across cloud and on-premise environments. The role requires strong expertise in Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Linux administration, networking, firewall management, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace administration.
Experience in automation/scripting, IT security best practices, and ISMS controls/documentation will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Systems Administration
- Administer, maintain, and support enterprise IT infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments.
- Manage on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure components including servers, storage, virtualization, and endpoint systems.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and services.
- Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root-cause analysis.
Windows Administration & Identity Management
- Manage and maintain:
- Windows Server environments
- Active Directory (AD)
- Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- DNS, DHCP, and file services
- Administer user lifecycle management, permissions, access controls, and security policies.
- Implement and manage Microsoft Intune for:
- Device enrollment
- Endpoint management
- Security policies
- Application deployment
- Compliance monitoring
Linux Administration
- Administer Linux servers and services including:
- User and permission management
- Package management
- System updates and patching
- Shell scripting and automation
- Troubleshoot Linux system performance and service-related issues.
Network & Firewall Administration
- Manage and support enterprise networking infrastructure including:
- LAN/WAN environments
- VLANs
- VPN connectivity
- Routing and switching
- Configure and maintain firewall solutions and security policies.
- Monitor network security and performance to ensure secure and optimized connectivity.
Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace Administration
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including:
- Exchange Online
- Teams
- SharePoint
- OneDrive
- Security & Compliance Center
- Manage Google Workspace services including:
- User provisioning
- Email administration
- Security policies
- Collaboration tools
- Support hybrid identity and authentication integrations where applicable.
Security, Compliance & ISMS
- Support implementation and maintenance of:
- Information Security Management System (ISMS) controls
- IT policies and procedures
- Security documentation and audit readiness
- Assist in compliance initiatives related to ISO 27001 and organizational security standards.
- Ensure endpoint and infrastructure security best practices are implemented and maintained.
Automation & Scripting
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
- Work with PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting technologies.
- Automate repetitive administrative tasks and reporting processes.
Documentation & Support
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, SOPs, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support and coordinate with vendors/service providers when required.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and IT projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT administration and infrastructure management.
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with:
- Windows Server Administration
- Active Directory & Group Policy
- Microsoft Intune
- Linux Administration
- Networking fundamentals
- Firewall administration
- Microsoft 365 Administration
- Google Workspace Administration
Additional Advantageous Skills
- Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.)
- Virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Cloud platform exposure (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
- Backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitoring and logging tools
- ISMS / ISO 27001 compliance knowledge
Preferred Certifications

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

- RHCSA / Linux certifications
