Role Description
This is a full time, on site role for an Information Security Specialist, based in New Delhi. The Information Security Specialist will be responsible for safeguarding the organization's digital assets by implementing effective application, network, and data security protocols. Key tasks include monitoring systems for vulnerabilities, managing cybersecurity risks, ensuring information security compliance, and continuously improving data privacy measures.
This role goes beyond monitoring, it involves hands on execution, ownership, and influencing how secure systems are designed in a fast paced startup environment.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Application Security and identifying vulnerabilities in software systems
- Experience with Cybersecurity protocols and safeguarding digital infrastructure
- Proficiency in Information Security Management and risk mitigation practices
- Understanding of Data Privacy principles and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of Network Security and protecting systems from unauthorized access and attacks
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to implement security measures
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
