Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Information Security Analyst. The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and assessing cybersecurity threats, ensuring network and application security, and implementing information security policies. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing and mitigating potential vulnerabilities, providing security recommendations, and supporting incident response efforts. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices in protecting sensitive data and maintaining compliance with security standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cybersecurity practices and methodologies, including vulnerability assessment and threat management
- 3+ years of expertise in Application Security and secure software development practices
- Advanced Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and provide proactive solutions
- Experience in Network Security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN configuration
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Security principles, protocols, and compliance standards
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
