Job details:
Asymbl is the workforce orchestration company bringing together workforce applications to hire human workers, digital labor strategy to onboard digital workers, and platform expertise to bring it all together. We help businesses attract, design, manage, and scale hybrid workforces that drive more meaningful business impact, faster. Workforce orchestration aligns strategy, process, and technology so the right work is done by the right worker with clarity and accountability.
We believe the future of work isn't human or digital. It's human and digital, orchestrated as one.
Our Data Foundations practice is aligned to Salesforce's evolving data platform, bringing together Data360, Informatica, MuleSoft, and data migration into a single, cohesive capability designed to help clients build trusted, governed, AI-ready data. We are growing the team that will scale this practice, sharpen what it delivers, and extend its reach across our client base.
Our goal is to make client data usable, trusted, and actionable, so it can power business outcomes, customer unification, and the next generation of AI-driven workflows on Salesforce.
Position Overview
We are looking for an Informatica Consultant to design and deliver data integration and data management solutions within the Salesforce Data Platform. This is a hands-on role. You will build scalable data pipelines, implement data quality and governance processes, and execute migration from PowerCenter to Informatica Cloud (IICS/IDMC).
Your work directly determines whether client data is clean, accurate, and ready for use within Salesforce Data360. You will work closely with Architects and cross-functional teams to implement solutions that support customer unification, data activation, and broader business outcomes.
This role is part of Asymbl's Data Foundations practice, which means you will also contribute to building the standards, reusable assets, and delivery patterns that define how we work across every engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Integration and Pipeline Development
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Informatica IDMC/IICS
- Develop batch and bulk data integration workflows across enterprise systems
- Build pipelines that feed Salesforce Data360, ensuring data is clean and usable before ingestion
- Write and optimize SQL queries and data transformation logic
Data Quality and Governance
- Implement data quality rules, including profiling, cleansing, and validation
- Support Master Data Management (MDM) processes, including deduplication and golden record alignment
- Contribute to data governance processes, including metadata tagging, lineage tracking, and data validation
Migration and Modernization
- Execute and support migration of legacy Informatica PowerCenter workflows to Informatica Cloud (IICS/IDMC), including mapping conversion, transformation logic migration, and data validation and reconciliation
- Refactor legacy ETL processes into scalable, cloud-based pipelines aligned to modern architecture standards
- Partner with Data Migration teams to support data extraction, transformation, validation, and cutover activities
Cross-Platform Collaboration
- Work within defined architecture alongside Informatica (batch data integration, data quality, governance), MuleSoft (real-time and API-based integration), and Data360 (data unification and activation)
- Collaborate with Architects to implement scalable and maintainable solutions
Client Interaction
- Participate in client discussions and provide clear updates on technical work
- Support workshops and implementation activities under Architect guidance
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
Data Foundations Practice Development
- Build reusable mapping templates, validation frameworks, and pipeline accelerators that the practice can deploy across engagements
- Document delivery patterns and implementation approaches so the team can scale without reinventing solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality processes and pipeline performance based on what you see across projects
Required Qualifications:
Must-Have
- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and clearly explain technical concepts
- Experience working in a client-facing consulting or delivery environment
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in data integration, ETL, or data engineering, with at least 3 years working with Informatica
- Ability to work with US-based clients, which may require overlapping hours with US Eastern or Central time zones
Core Technical Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS/IDMC)
- Candidates with only PowerCenter experience must demonstrate cloud migration experience
- Experience working with Salesforce data models, objects, and APIs
- Hands-on experience implementing at least one of the following: Data Quality (profiling, cleansing, validation), Master Data Management (MDM), or Data Catalog, metadata management, or data lineage
- Strong SQL skills (T-SQL preferred)
- Experience building data pipelines across multiple enterprise systems
Platform Understanding
- Basic understanding of when to use Informatica for batch data integration, data quality, and governance versus MuleSoft for real-time and API-based integration
- Familiarity with data pipelines that support Salesforce Data360 or similar platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Informatica certification (ICP or equivalent)
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (strongly preferred)
- Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360) certification
- Experience with Informatica Data Quality, MDM, or Data Catalog
- Exposure to Informatica CLAIRE AI capabilities
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as ERP, HRIS, or financial platforms
What Success Looks Like
- Builds reliable, scalable data pipelines that deliver clean, governed data clients can use for unification, activation, and AI readiness
- Produces validated, high-quality data that downstream teams and systems can trust without rework
- Collaborates effectively with Architects and cross-functional teams to ship solutions on time
- Communicates clearly with clients and internal stakeholders, earning confidence as a dependable technical contributor
- Contributes tangible assets to the Data Foundations practice, such as templates, frameworks, or documented patterns that other team members use
