Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Informatica CDGC and related IDMC components.
- Define enterprise data governance strategy, standards, and operating model.
- Architect and manage metadata ingestion, cataloging, and classification.
- Design and implement technical, business, and operational data lineage.
- Lead business glossary creation, stewardship workflows, and approval processes.
- Integrate CDGC with ETL, BI, cloud data platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Ensure alignment of data governance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to CDGC engineers and analysts.
- Partner with data owners, stewards, architects, and compliance teams.
- Oversee security, role-based access, and governance workflows.
- Drive adoption through training, documentation, and change management initiatives.
Skills Required:
- Hands-on experience with Informatica CDGC and IDMC components
- Strong expertise in data governance principles, metadata management, and cataloging
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud and cloud-based data platforms
- Knowledge of ETL processes, data quality, and data privacy standards
- Ability to define enterprise data governance strategies, policies, and workflows
- Experience designing and implementing data lineage, business glossaries, and stewardship processes
- Leadership and mentoring experience for technical teams
- Collaboration with business, IT, and compliance stakeholders
- Understanding of security, role-based access, and regulatory compliance in data governance
- Strong communication, training, and change management skills to drive adoption
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Informatica IDMC CDGC certification preferred.
