Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience in Informatica (PowerCenter or similar) Good experience with Big Data technologies (Hive, Hadoop) Strong working knowledge of UNIX/Linux and shell scripting Experience in production support / ETL support / batch support Strong understanding of workflow/job monitoring and troubleshooting Good SQL/HiveQL skills for data validation and issue analysis Experience in resolving data pipeline failures and batch abends Familiarity with job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, etc.) Experience with incident management tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA, etc.) Understanding of SLA, RCA, and escalation processes Strong analytical and debugging skills Preferred Skills Experience in L2/L3 support environments Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL concepts Exposure to performance tuning in Hive/Hadoop environments Familiarity with enterprise production support models Ability to work with cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments
Provide production support for data integration and Big Data platforms Monitor ETL workflows, batch jobs, Hive queries, Hadoop jobs, and UNIX scripts Analyze and resolve job failures, data issues, and performance bottlenecks Handle incident management, service requests, and escalation handling within SLA Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement fixes for recurring issues Troubleshoot issues across Informatica workflows, Hive/Hadoop jobs, and UNIX environment Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy of production loads Support job scheduling, batch execution, and release/deployment validation Work closely with application, DB, infra, and business teams for issue resolution Perform basic performance tuning of ETL workflows and Big Data processes Maintain SOPs, runbooks, support documentation, and knowledge base Participate in on-call/shift support as required Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, SLA, and operational guidelines
Role Expectations Ensure smooth execution of daily production jobs and data pipelines Quickly identify and resolve critical production issues Maintain high system availability and reliability Communicate effectively with stakeholders during incidents Support deployment cycles and post-release monitoring Contribute to continuous improvement through RCA and process enhancements Desired Candidate Profile 5–9 years of relevant IT experience Strong experience in production support for Informatica + Big Data environments Proven experience in handling incidents, batch failures, and data issues Strong troubleshooting skills across ETL, Hive/Hadoop, and UNIX layers Good SQL/HiveQL knowledge Experience working in SLA-driven support environments Good communication and coordination skills Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline Work Location Hyderabad (HYD)
