QA Engineer, Associate

Infor is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join the ERPXA team that develops, maintains, and enhances ERPA XA product. The quality engineer should be a dynamic professional who will be responsible for monitoring every phase of the development process to ensure that the design and software adhere to Infor's standards. Title: Quality Engineer, Associate Experience: 1 - 2 Years. Location: Preferably Hyderabad Education: Bachelor's/ master's degree in IT/Finance Skill: QA, good to have financial domain expertise. Basic Qualifications: · Bachelor's or MBA Finance degree Holder having Finance background. · 1-2 years of experience in manual testing. · Knowledge of ERP product and Finance domain is must. · Knowledge of Basic Accounting, Financial transactions, AR, AP, General Ledgers including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. · Experience in a product testing with rich experience in creating test plans, test execution of complex functionality. · Experience with test case management and reporting tools. · Experience with SQL, Relational databases, Testing Methodologies, and Software development lifecycle. · Effective time management and tasks prioritization, capability to handle simultaneous projects, to work independently and to deliver good quality product under strict deadlines. · Experience with all lifecycle aspects of enterprise software. · Excellent communication required with project team, Developers, Business analysis and Customers. · Self-motivated with desire to learn product functionality without supervision. Preferred Qualifications: · Ability to work in current technical environments and with collaborative tools (Jira, Wiki,) · Experience with SOA (Service-oriented Architecture), network, and protocol test tools. · Strong analytical skills · Ability to multi-task · Self-teacher in acquiring technical skills. Responsibilities: · Conduct manual or semi-automated functional testing. · Conduct compatibility tests with third party software, hardware, and network equipment. · Produce internal QA documentation regarding design, develop, execution, and maintenance of automated test scripts. · Identify, analyse, and report defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in the applications. · Set up Test Environment and Maintain to ensure functionality of products. · Follow internal release management process to ensure quality and consistency between software release versions. · Document, revise and verify QA Test plan, project QA Test Scope and QA test procedures. · Assists in the distribution of all Quality Assurance practices, standards, methodologies, and metrics. · Assist with Requirement gathering, and Business Analysis as required. · Report testing status, milestones, and issues to project stakeholders. · Be open to take on other projects and responsibilities as necessary.
