We are looking for a Senior Manager, Quality Engineering to join our Cloud Services team in Bangalore, India, reporting to the senior manager of engineering based in Santa Clara, California. In this role, you will lead a team of QA engineers to ensure the highest quality of our cloud-based software products. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies, overseeing the execution of test plans, and collaborating closely with Development and Product teams to deliver robust and reliable software solutions. You will also manage the QA process for our cloud software products, including planning, coordinating, and executing testing activities. Additionally, you will work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues and continuously improve our QA processes. You are the ideal candidate if you are a results-driven troubleshooter and collaborator who operates independently. What youll do: Lead and manage a team of QA engineers to ensure high-quality software releases Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and processes for SaaS environments Collaborate with Development and Product teams to identify and resolve issues and ensure adherence to QA processes and best practices Work closely with Development, Product Management, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle Evaluate and select appropriate testing tools and frameworks Create and maintain detailed test documentation and reports Conduct regular code reviews and provide feedback to team members Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvement Build and maintain automated test suites for continuous integration Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products What youll bring: Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing QA processes Minimum of 15 years of experience in software quality assurance Solid technical skills in automated testing tools and frameworks, such as pytest and JUnit Excellent understanding of various cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and others Experience in microservices development with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with both black-box and white-box testing Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Good knowledge of Networking on Cloud platforms, preferably on DNS, DHCP, or IPAM Self-starter with the ability to handle competing priorities and work under pressure Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices
