About the role

The Role:

This assistive position provides vital support to the Brand Marketing Manager in executing marketing plans. It involves handling a broad range of tasks—from maintaining design assets to scheduling social posts—in close collaboration with the marketing team, ensuring each detail meets high standards. This position is ideal for an emerging marketing professional eager to upskill and learn in a hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Support: Works in tandem with the Brand Marketing Manager to populate social media calendars and helps implement multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, digital ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Collateral Maintenance: Updates and keeps existing marketing assets—presentations, brochures, social graphics—currently using Adobe Creative Suite at an intermediate level (no original design creation).
  • Agency Coordination: In collaboration with the Brand Marketing Manager, assists in briefing external design agencies and printers, reviews proofs for brand consistency, and tracks deliverables.
  • Web & Email Updates: Performs basic HTML/CSS edits to email templates and landing pages; liaises with IT or agencies for advanced updates.
  • Social Media Execution: Schedules posts, monitors performance, and engages with the community; captures quick videos or photos for timely content as part of a coordinated effort.
  • Admin & Logistics: Processes purchase orders, manages vendor communications, coordinates event logistics, and maintains marketing inventory with accuracy.
  • Reporting Assistance: Gathers key performance metrics—engagement rates, open rates, click-throughs—and assists in preparing clear, concise reports.
  • Research & Insights: Conducts basic competitor or industry research to support content ideas and benchmarks.
  • Continuous Learning: Welcomes feedback, follows guidance, and steadily builds skills in line with evolving needs.

What We're Looking For:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Intermediate ability in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Basic HTML/CSS for simple updates.
  • Digital Marketing Familiarity: Experience with social-media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and online community-engagement practices.
  • Design Awareness: Comfortable applying templates and brand guidelines to maintain a consistent look and feel.
  • Organisational Strength: Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
  • Communication: Clear, concise writing and proofreading; confidence collaborating with colleagues and external partners.
  • Adaptability: Quick to learn new tools and processes; receptive to collaboration and able to adjust when priorities shift.

About the Candidate:

  • Detail-Oriented: Catches and corrects small errors before they become issues.
  • Dependable: Follows through on tasks reliably and on time.
  • Positive Team Member: Works well with others and contributes to a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Resilient: Handles shifting priorities and workloads with composure and a can-do attitude.
  • Eager to Learn: Embraces feedback and seeks opportunities for professional growth.

Why You'll Love Joining the Team:

  • Upskill Opportunity: Perfect for an emerging marketing professional seeking practical exposure and on-the-job training.
  • Structured Support: Receive mentorship, hands-on guidance, and training to help you excel.
  • Diverse Experience: Gain exposure to a wide range of marketing activities without the pressure of project ownership.
  • Flexible Work Model: This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility, work-life balance, and the ability to work from anywhere.
  • Collaborative Culture: Join a team that values support, creativity, and continuous improvement.
