Company Description
Malai Labs runs organic social and influencer marketing for growth-stage tech brands. This role sits on Malai's flagship account — Presentations.ai, an AI-powered presentation platform — a live, contracted engagement rather than a hypothetical mandate.
Role Description
This is a full-time, contract role dedicated entirely to the Presentations.ai account, running for the initial three-month engagement (15 July–14 Oct 2026) with scope to extend. You'll own end-to-end influencer marketing across X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Reddit: sourcing, vetting, negotiating, and contracting creators, weighted toward micro (~45%) and mid-tier (~30%) voices across founder/startup/VC, sales/GTM, consulting/freelance, and AI-tools-reviewer niches. You'll maintain active commercial discussions with 15+ creators a month, deploy the confirmed monthly Influencer Media Budget (ramping from ~$20K to ~$50K across the quarter) into launched partnerships — targeting ~40% as recurring, multi-month collaborations — and structure deals on a flat-fee-plus-affiliate/CPA mix. You'll prepare one consolidated creator list monthly for client approval, track deliverables, ensure disclosed and platform-compliant participation, source replacements when a creator underdelivers, and reconcile spend for the monthly report. You'll be the second decision-maker on creators alongside the account partner, freeing up the existing intern to focus on community management and monitoring.
Qualifications
- Experience in influencer marketing — creator discovery, outreach, negotiation, and contracting — ideally with founder-led or B2B/SaaS audiences rather than consumer/lifestyle creators.
- Comfortable running high-volume outreach with disciplined tracking across a live monthly creator pipeline (15+ concurrent conversations).
- Working knowledge of platform norms and disclosure requirements across X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Reddit.
- Ability to judge creator fit against a defined niche/tier mix rather than follower count alone, and to structure flat-fee + affiliate/CPA deals.
- Strong organisational skills — able to run consolidated approval cycles, budget-deployment tracking, and monthly reconciliation without hand-holding.
- Excellent written communication for creator briefs and client-facing updates.
- Comfortable as a fully dedicated resource to one flagship account with tight weekly/bi-weekly reporting cadence.
Preferred: prior startup/consumer-tech experience; familiarity with affiliate/CPA tracking basics.
