About the Role
We're looking for a driven and outgoing Business Development Intern to join our influencer marketing agency. Your core job is simple- identify brands that could benefit from influencer marketing, pitch our services, and help bring in new business. If you love networking, have a knack for sales, and are excited about the creator economy, this role is for you.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential brand clients across categories (FMCG, fashion, D2C, lifestyle, etc.)
- Reach out to brands via cold emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate leads.
- Pitch our agency's influencer marketing services to marketing teams and brand managers.
- Maintain and update a lead tracker / CRM with outreach status and follow-ups.
- Assist in preparing proposals, pitch decks, and capability presentations.
- Coordinate with the internal team to ensure smooth handover of converted leads.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging brand campaigns.
Who We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Mass Communication, or related field.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and not afraid of rejection.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and influencer marketing.
- Proactive, self starter attitude with the ability to work independently.
