Role Overview
As an Influencer Marketing Associate, you’ll be responsible for building and scaling this engine end-to-end, from identifying the right creators, to shaping content that actually performs, to ensuring it drives measurable outcomes like leads and conversions. This role sits at the intersection of creators, content, and growth. You won’t just manage influencers, you’ll turn them into consistent acquisition channels. That means knowing who to work with, what will resonate with their audience, and how to structure campaigns that go beyond views.
What You’ll Own
1. Influencer-Led Lead Generation
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard influencers across Instagram, YouTube, Telegram, and emerging platforms
- Focus on relevance > reach — creators who can actually drive qualified leads, not just views
- Build a consistent pipeline of influencers mapped to different audience segments
2. Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Plan and execute influencer campaigns aligned to specific goals — lead generation, sign-ups, conversions
- Collaborate with creators to shape content that fits their audience while still delivering on business outcomes
- Ensure campaigns are executed fast, clean, and on schedule
3. Negotiation & Deal Structuring
- Negotiate pricing based on expected performance, not just follower count
- Structure deals (fixed + performance-based where possible) to maximize ROI
- Handle contracts, deliverables, and expectations clearly upfront
4. Content Direction (Not Just Coordination)
- Guide influencers on what to say, how to say it, and why it works
- Use insights (comments, saves, shares, past performance) to refine messaging
- Ensure content feels native to the creator — not forced brand placement
5. Relationship Building at Scale
- Build long-term partnerships with high-performing influencers
- Turn one-time collaborations into repeatable, reliable acquisition channels
- Stay top-of-mind with creators through consistent communication
6. Tracking, Insights & Iteration
- Track performance beyond vanity metrics — leads, CPL, conversions
- Identify which creators, formats, and hooks are working
- Double down on winners, cut what doesn’t — fast
7. Trend & Market Awareness
- Stay updated on platform shifts, creator trends, and emerging formats
- Spot early opportunities before they become saturated
Skills & Attributes
- Strong understanding of marketing funnels (content → lead → conversion)
- Hands-on experience with influencer sourcing, outreach, and campaign execution
- Ability to evaluate creators based on audience quality, not just numbers
- Strong instinct for what works with Gen Z audiences
- Comfortable negotiating and handling multiple stakeholders
- Organized — able to manage multiple campaigns without dropping timelines
- Clear communicator — both with creators and internal teams
- Data-aware — can read performance and make decisions, not guesses
- Proactive — doesn’t wait for briefs, actively spots opportunities
