Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the development of software modules or projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using languages such as Java, Python, or Golang.
- Architect and optimize relational, NoSQL, and columnar database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, SingleStore, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake).
- Implement and manage message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS for asynchronous processing.
- Deploy, manage, and scale applications using AWS and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, propose solutions, and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance within the team.
- Continuously evaluate new technologies and best practices to improve software development processes.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend development.
- At least 1 year of experience being a module or project lead
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python or Golang
- Strong understanding of database systems, relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), and columnar (SingleStore, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake)
- Hands-on experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS.
- Experience with AWS and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, high-performance systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
