Job description
Responsibilities:- Participate in design discussions about the technical implementation and consider the tradeoffs to support business value, scalability and delivery timeline.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Implement quality controls and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and reliability throughout the cloud-based systems.
- Optimize and fine-tune cloud-based solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in cloud technologies, machine learning, and quality control practices.
- Write effective, scalable code
- Integration with Client Facing Application and UpStream system
- Debug and address performance issues
- Design and code for security considerations, anticipates security risks
- Peer / code reviews
- Lead the development of a product feature
Qualifications:- Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering, machine learning, technology, or a related area.
- Strong software engineering skills
- Experience with Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning , Generative AI ,Data Scientist ,OCR
- Experience with LLM prompt engineering
- Strong background in machine learning and statistics
- Solid foundation on data structures and algorithms
- Proficiency in Python for numerical/statistical programming (our group relies heavily on Pandas/Numpy/Scikit-learn/PyTorch)
- Ability to write complex SQL queries
- Track record of leading the deployment and maintenance of models
- Experience deploying and managing machine learning models at scale on GCP/AWS/Azure using Kubernetes and other related technologies
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts and tools for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Experience in implementing quality controls and ensuring data integrity in cloud-based systems.
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts and tools for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes and Kubeflow
