Description: JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: QA Software Developer Engineer in Test Location: Remote We are looking for a motivated QA SDET with a high standard of quality. The responsibilities of the QA SDET include testing tasks and focuses on the testability, robustness, and performance of production software. As such, the QA SDET is a test professional with advanced communication (both written and verbal) skills who can test all new features, bugs, hotfixes for the application. The QA SDET will evaluate products, systems, and software to ensure they are free of defects and meet the quality standards of the organization. What You Will Do: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using C#, Groovy/Java, JavaScript, and tools like Katalon and Selenium. Perform hands-on manual testing to ensure the quality of new features and bug fixes across various platforms. Conduct release candidate testing to certify builds for production readiness, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards. Collaborate closely with team members to define testing strategies and acceptance criteria. Drive the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and techniques to enhance software quality and team efficiency. Identify, log, and track defects to closure, ensuring effective communication with cross-functional teams. Develop and extend test tools to support functional, performance, and integration testing needs. Implement and maintain test automation pipelines within the CI/CD workflows to achieve faster feedback on code changes. Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide detailed insights to development teams. Ensure adherence to Infinicept's quality standards while working in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Core Requirements: 3+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing in Agile/Scrum environments. Proficiency in developing automated tests using C#, Selenium, Groovy/Java, Katalon, or equivalent tools/frameworks. Strong understanding of test design principles, such boundary testing, equivalence partitioning, and exploratory testing. Experience working with API testing tools such as Postman or similar frameworks. Familiarity with JavaScript for front-end test automation or UI validations. Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex software systems. Knowledge of database testing, including querying and validating data in SQL Server or similar RDBMS. Experience with version control systems like Git. Ability to write clear, concise test cases, and defect reports. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
