Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Dehradun for an Infection Control Nurse. The role involves the implementation and monitoring of infection prevention and control practices to ensure patient and staff safety. Responsibilities include performing regular infection control audits, educating healthcare workers on standardized protocols, investigating infection outbreaks, and maintaining compliance with healthcare policies and guidelines. Collaboration with other medical staff to develop measures to prevent and control infections is essential.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding and expertise in Infection Control and Infectious Diseases
- Professional training and experience in Nursing, with a strong grasp of medical practices and patient care protocols
- Proficient knowledge of medicine and infection-related health practices
- Strong analytical skills for data collection, reporting, and monitoring infection trends
- Effective communication and mentorship skills to train staff on infection control measures
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable
- Educational qualification in Nursing, Medicine, or a related healthcare field
