Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Infection Control Nurse based in Bengaluru. The Infection Control Nurse will monitor, prevent, and manage the spread of infections in the hospital. Daily responsibilities will include identifying infection trends, implementing preventive measures, educating staff on infection control protocols, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. The role also involves collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Infection Control, prevention practices, and management.
- Strong Nursing and Medicine knowledge applicable to infection prevention and patient care.
- Understanding of Infectious Diseases and measures to mitigate their spread.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to educate and guide healthcare staff.
- Ability to analyze data and report infection trends.
- Certification in Infection Control or related specialization is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent healthcare qualification.
- Previous experience in an infection control or related nursing role is preferred.
