Role Description The Interior Designer role at EISA INFRA PRIVATE LIMITED is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing interior design plans, including space planning, selecting materials and finishes, and creating mood boards and design presentations. Day-to-day tasks include working closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure design intent is accurately implemented on site, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and coordinating with vendors for furnishings and fixtures. The role also involves meeting with clients to understand requirements, presenting design proposals, incorporating feedback, and ensuring that all designs align with project budgets, timelines, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in interior space planning, concept development, and design detailing.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, or similar tools).
- Ability to select and coordinate materials, finishes, color schemes, lighting, furniture, and fixtures.
- Experience collaborating with construction, contracting, and project management teams on-site.
- Solid understanding of building codes, safety standards, and practical aspects of interior construction.
- Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills for client meetings.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure interiors is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
