This involves product research, prototyping, design development, and improving user experience while balancing creativity with engineering and manufacturing needs.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Product Designer who can lead and contribute to
the end-to-end product design process—from research and ideation to prototyping and
production-ready development.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in industrial design, 3Dmodelling,
manufacturing-aware design, prototyping, and product visualization, along with the ability
to work closely with engineering and cross-functional teams. with Customers, Healthcare, Defence, Space, Manufacturing, E-Commerce, Electronics.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop innovative and functional industrial product concepts
• Create detailed 3DCADmodels, assemblies, and production-ready designs
•Work on product ideation, sketching, prototyping, and design refinement
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams for design execution
• Apply DFM(Design for Manufacturing) and practical manufacturing considerations
• Prepare technical documentation, presentations, and design reports
• Conduct material, user, and market research for product development
• Build and test prototypes to validate product functionality and usability
• Ensure products align with usability, aesthetics, and business goals
• Support product development from concept to production stage
Required Skills
• Strong proficiency in Fusion 360 / SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
• Experience in 3Dmodelling, product rendering, and prototyping
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, sheet metal, plastics, fabrication, and materials
• Good understanding of industrial design principles and ergonomics
• Strong visualization, sketching, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in prototyping methods including 3Dprinting and mockups
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and execution-focused environment
Preferred Qualifications
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in industrial/product design
• Experience working on real-world products and manufacturing-oriented projects
• Exposure to startup/product innovation ecosystem is an added advantage
• Knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or product visualization tools is preferred
