**THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION LOCATED IN NEW ALBANY, INDIANA!**

Position Summary:

Responsible for assembling & testing a range of test and measurement instrumentation in accordance with established standards and processes.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce product assemblies according to established processes, drawings, and specifications.

• Ensure product quality standards are achieved by adhering to all written procedures and work instructions.

• Ensure quality standards are adhered to throughout the manufacturing process.

• Ensure that any defects incurred during the process are identified and segregated.

• Ability to Cross train on multiple products with the ability to flex where needed.

• Work with team members to collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives relating to production.

• Ensure that all machines and tools used are maintained in accordance with company protocols

• Perform additional duties beyond the scope of work upon request.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Must be organized and maintain a clean, safe work area.

• Show knowledge of standard manufacturing practices in mechanical and electrical assembly.

• Demonstrated knowledge of equipment used within a manufacturing environment, such as hand tools, machine tools, soldering tools, measuring tools - mechanical and electrical.

• Be a team player, ready and willing to assist others.

• Participate in LEAN activities to improve efficiency and standard work practices.

• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

• Participate in problem-solving and improvement teams.

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. at a time.

• Must be flexible and available for overtime where necessary.


TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School or High School equivalent diploma required.

• A minimum of 3-years prior manufacturing work experience

• Degree in a mechanical or electrical field of study preferred.
