Role Objective:
Cuttech is seeking a dynamic Industrial Engineer to bridge the gap between our innovative product lines and real-world factory operations. Unlike a traditional floor-based IE role, you will be the technical face of our products, responsible for showcasing their value through live demonstrations and leading the end-to-end setup of our solutions within customer manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Line Management & Demos
- Act as the technical expert for Cuttech’s product range, delivering high-impact product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Translate technical specifications into operational benefits (e.g., SAM reduction, fabric savings, or throughput increase) for factory owners and production managers.
- Manage the feedback loop between customers and our product development team to suggest enhancements based on market needs.
2. Customer Factory Setup & Implementation
- Lead the on-site implementation of Cuttech systems at customer locations, ensuring seamless integration with their existing production lines.
- Design and execute optimized floor layouts for customers to maximize the efficiency of newly installed equipment.
- Conduct time-study audits post-installation to validate performance improvements and ROI for the client.
3. Training & Technical Advisory
- Train customer staff (operators, supervisors, and in-house IEs) on the technical usage and maintenance of Cuttech products.
- Troubleshoot workflow bottlenecks at the customer site and provide IE-based solutions to ensure our products perform at peak efficiency.
- Create standardized SOPs and training manuals tailored to specific customer setups.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Garment/Textile Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–3 years in the Garments Industry. Experience in factory operations or apparel machinery/software implementation is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of garment production processes (Cutting, Sewing, and Finishing).
- Ability to calculate and demonstrate ROI, SAM, and efficiency metrics.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for designing factory layouts.
- Soft Skills: Excellent presentation and "people skills." You must be comfortable navigating both the boardroom and the factory floor.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel to customer sites for setups and demonstrations as required.
