Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Industrial Designer with strong expertise in product aesthetics, surface modelling, and sketching to enhance the design and visual appeal of our tools and equipment. The candidate should be capable of translating concepts into high-quality surface models ready for production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative product designs with a strong focus on aesthetics, ergonomics, and usability

• Create concept sketches and design visualizations to communicate ideas effectively

• Create high-quality surface models (Class A / freeform surfaces) for product development

• Work on end-to-end product design from concept to production

• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility

• Improve product appeal through refined surface detailing and finishes

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Industrial Design / Product Design or equivalent

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in product design with strong surface modelling expertise

• Strong sketching and visualization skills (hand sketching & digital)

• Proficiency in tools like SolidWorks, CATIA, Rhino, Alias or similar

• Strong portfolio showcasing sketching, surface modelling, and aesthetic design work

• Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and finishing techniques

• Eye for detail, form, and product styling

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in industrial tools / hand tools design

• Knowledge of Class A surfacing standards

• Experience in prototyping and product validation

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
