Are you a visual storyteller who brings characters, worlds, and emotions to life through sequential art? We're commissioning original comics and storyboard-driven visual narratives—and we want to work with you!
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking freelance artists to contribute to an exciting and diverse portfolio of short-form visual stories. You’ll help us build a library of original narratives, spanning manga, western comics, and other global styles.
What You'll Create:
Comics – Finished, fully illustrated pages with integrated text (dialogue, captions, sound FX).
Visual Storyboards – Silent, cinematic panel sequences with no in-image text.
Supporting Assets – Non-sequential design sheets (characters, objects, backgrounds, etc.).
Story Formats:
Comics:
▸ Manga styles (Shonen, Shojo, Seinen, etc.)
▸ Western styles (Superhero, Fantasy, Horror, Indie)
▸ Global styles (Ligne Claire, Webtoons, Underground)
Storyboards:
▸ Single-page strips
▸ Chapter-length visual stories
You Might Be a Fit If You:
- Have experience in comic illustration or storyboard art
- Are comfortable working in diverse visual styles
- Understand sequential storytelling (pacing, layout, expression)
- Can produce supporting visual assets (character/prop/background design)
- Are organized and open to structured workflows (annotations, file tags, etc.)
This is a remote, freelancing role. We welcome applicants from around the world, especially creators with unique or underrepresented visual storytelling perspectives.
