Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager for a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The responsibilities include managing tax compliance, overseeing GST-related processes, and conducting tax audits. The role also involves ensuring accuracy in indirect tax filings, staying updated with taxation laws, and providing advice on tax planning strategies to optimize compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Tax Compliance and Indirect Taxation
- Hands-on experience in conducting Tax Audits and managing tax-related processes
- In-depth understanding of Goods and Services Tax (GST) policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using tax software and tools is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Relevant certifications in taxation or accounting (e.g., CA, CPA) are an advantage
