Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Indirect Tax Lawyer based in Mumbai. The Indirect Tax Lawyer will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax advisory services, developing tax planning strategies, handling tax-related legal matters, and staying updated on regulatory and legislative changes. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with clients to deliver practical tax compliance solutions and representation in relevant tax litigation matters.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Tax, Tax Law, and Tax Advisory
- Proficiency in Tax Planning and implementation of strategies
- In-depth understanding of Indirect Tax principles and applications
- Proven track record in Tax compliance and Tax-related legal proceedings
- Effective communication and client management skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM) with a specialization in Taxation preferred
- Knowledge of India’s tax regulations and familiarity with international tax practices is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and dedication to delivering high-quality solutions
