About the Project:
BROWN isn’t just a film; it’s a guerrilla movement in independent cinema. Led by filmmaker Raj Amit Kumar, we are currently touring universities, art spaces, and international festivals. We are looking for a lean, mean team of digital storytellers to help us scale our impact and manage our upcoming slate of films.
The Role:
This is a 100% remote, volunteer-based collaboration. You won’t be fetching coffee; you’ll be in the trenches of film distribution and digital marketing. We are looking for individuals who can own one or more of these areas:
Video/Graphic Editing: Crafting high-energy social hooks, behind-the-scenes "guerrilla" shorts, and podcast snippets from our tour footage, and snippets/scenes from film footage.
What’s In It For You?
Direct Mentorship: Work closely with the core team and gain insight into independent film distribution and marketing automation.
Portfolio Impact: Your work will be seen by thousands of film enthusiasts, students, and industry professionals.
IMDb/Film Credits: Specific contributions to the campaign and upcoming projects will be officially credited.
Network: Access to our panel of filmmakers, activists, and creative rebels.
Who You Are:
You have a "do-it-yourself" spirit and don't wait for permission to be creative.
You are proficient in Premiere/CapCut (for editors) or have a knack for digital trends (for marketing).
You believe that independent stories deserve a global stage.
Location: Remote (Global)
Commitment: Flexible (approx. 14 hours/week)
How to Apply:
Apply directly via LinkedIn or send a brief note about why you want to join the guerrilla cinema movement to brownthefilm@gmail.com
