Building Service (Housekeeping) Manager

The Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium (ICCLOS) is a powerhouse destination for some of the largest events in the country.  Every day brings something new with hundreds of events throughout the year and annual events such as the Big Ten Football Championship game, FDIC International, Gen Con, Indiana Black Expo, Indiana Comic Con, National FFA, and PRI. 

Summary:

The Building Service Manager oversees all housekeeping and grounds personnel plus three shift supervisors. 

Job Responsibilities:

•    Make recommendations related to hiring, firing or other changes in employee status.

•    Oversee all housekeeping/grounds personnel.

•    Oversee scheduling of housekeeping employees and payroll processing.

•    Supervise the ordering, receiving and handling of all cleaning supplies, and grounds keeping supplies.

•    Ensure all handling, usage, and storing of chemical products is according to OSHA safety regulations.

•    Ensure all equipment is handled and stored properly.

•    Supervise and direct housekeeping shift supervisors.

•    Oversee and direct personnel disciplinary procedures.

•    Oversee snow removal.

•    Oversee all scheduling for contractual labor.

•    Other duties as assigned by Facility Manager.

Experience:

Must have previous manager experience, preferably in housekeeping or janitorial work.
