Technical Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Library Assistant

ISRO VSSC has announced a total of 82 vacancies across various disciplines for the roles of Technical Assistant, Scientific Assistant, and Library Assistant. The specific educational qualifications vary for each post. For Technical Assistant, the requirement is First Class Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline. For Scientific Assistant, the requirement is First Class B.Sc. Degree in the relevant discipline. For Library Assistant 'A', the requirement is Graduate + First Class Master's degree in Library Science / Library & Information Science or equivalent. The age limit for these posts is 35 years as of the closing date of application, with permissible age relaxations for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen) as per Government of India norms. The selection process involves a Written Test, Skill Test (if applicable), and Document Verification. The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Written Test, subject to qualifying in the Skill Test (if applicable) and successful Document Verification.

The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is the lead centre of ISRO responsible for the design and development of launch vehicle technology. VSSC is an entirely indigenous facility working on the development of sounding rockets, Rohini and Menaka launchers, and SLV, ASLV, PSLV, GSLV, and GSLV MkIII families of launch vehicles.
