Online MTech in Artificial Intelligence

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has launched a new online MTech in artificial intelligence (AI) programme for working professionals. Applications are open for 11 disciplines in MTech including the newly launched AI specialisation. The last to apply for the AI programme is May 31. The online classes will begin in August-September 2025. Students can apply for the online programme through the official website, code.iitm.ac.in. This program is designed for working professionals who seek to upskill in AI while continuing their employment. Earlier, IIT Madras only offered an online MTech course in Industrial AI catering to specific industry applications. However, after recognising the need for a more comprehensive AI curriculum the institute has launched this expanded course covering all fundamentals of AI in various sectors. The programme is designed to offer hands-on experience through labs and projects.

IIT Madras
