Project Associate in Science Communication and Outreach

The position aims to expand public outreach activities at IIST, including showcasing and communicating the institute's research through various media. The successful candidate will be expected to take lead roles in the following: 1. Initiate and coordinate outreach activities with colleges, schools regularly. 2. Provide outreach support for educational events held at IIST. 3. Frequently organise outreach activities of IIST at popular public venues. 4. Generate outreach-related write-ups for social media channels of the institute. Manage the social media pages. 5. Write notes for press releases and publicity material for the [IST webpage. 6. Assist with preparing reports and presentations of outreach activities at IIST. 7. Organise outreach events on important days. 8. Coordinate and schedule campus tours for visiting colleges and schools. 9. Work requires frequent travel for educational and outreach activities.
