Director of Nursing (DON)
Embassy Rehab & Care Center is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team in a hands-on, team-focused environment.

Key responsibilities:

Lead and support nursing staff across all units

Drive survey readiness and maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations

Develop and maintain staffing strategies without reliance on agency

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork and consistent expectations

Partner closely with the Administrator and leadership team on daily operations
-
Mentor and develop nurses and unit leaders
What we’re looking for:
-
Active RN license (Iowa or compact)
-
Prior long-term care experience required
-
Previous leadership experience (ADON, DON or Nurse Manager)

Strong understanding of survey process and regulatory compliance
-
Proven ability to lead teams through challenges and change
-
Hands-on leadership style – visible, engaged and accountable
